1、普通气刹的驻车制动只能在货车静止的情况下使用,因为其制动力矩是作用在传动轴上,如果在小型搅拌车行驶当中使用,易造成传动轴和后桥的严重超载荷,还可能因差速器壳被抱死而发生左右两车轮的旋转方向相反,致使货车制动时跑偏甚掉头。

2、油刹结构简单,安装空间小,只是需要刹车总泵、分泵、油杯及连接管路,不需要其他的附属设备;气刹就复杂多了,除了刹车总泵、分泵、刹车管路外,还有打气泵、储气筒、高压控制器、继动阀等部件,需要安装空间大,结构较复杂,而且为了确保,后刹车分泵现在都是断气刹车。

3、常规刹车是手刹锁住传动轴,脚刹时由压缩空气进入制动气室锁住车轮。在手刹或传动轴机械故障时,手刹失灵;在气泵、管路、储气筒、制动阀任何一个部位故障时,脚刹失灵。而断气刹车就可有效避免这些危险
